Vendor Terms of Service

Last Updated: 11 September 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By registering as a vendor on NearbyBazaar, you agree to be bound by these Vendor Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of the Vendor Dashboard, product listings, order fulfillment, and commission structures. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform as a vendor.

2. Account Registration & KYC

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You agree to complete the required KYC verification (including GST and PAN submission) before payouts can be initiated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Listings and Content

As a vendor, you are solely responsible for all content, images, and pricing uploaded to your store. You guarantee that your products are authentic, legal, and correctly described. Listing counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items will result in immediate store suspension.

4. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

You agree to process and dispatch orders within the timeframe specified in your shipping settings. Failure to dispatch items on time may result in penalties, order cancellation by the buyer, or a decrease in your vendor rating.

5. Fees, Commissions, and Payouts

NearbyBazaar charges a platform fee and category-specific commissions on successful sales. These fees are deducted automatically from customer payments before the balance is remitted to your bank account. Payout cycles are typically T+2 (two days after successful delivery), subject to banking holidays.

6. Returns and Refunds

You are required to adhere to the NearbyBazaar Return Policy. If a buyer initiates a valid return, you must accept the return and the corresponding amount will be deducted from your upcoming payouts. Disputes regarding the condition of returned goods will be mediated by NearbyBazaar support.

7. Termination

NearbyBazaar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your vendor account at any time for violation of these Terms, excessive order cancellations, low customer ratings, or fraudulent activity.
